The prestigious and most renowned English club in football is now at their tough time. The best manager in the club football history who was supposed to have managed the club for 26 years, informed his retirement at the end of the 2012-13 season. His retirement has left behind a large loop hole in the Red Devils Army. The mastermind manager choosed fellow countryman David Moyes to take the club forward from where he left off. Moyes was until the manager for the Everton football club for over a decade. But the Gingerhead found it difficult and feeling it big room for him to fill the spot left behind.
Moyes felt the heat rising up right from the start of the new season and left the space to talk about his calibre to fill the spot. The Scot had a horrible start to the year 2014 as the club lost their first three matches. And were eliminated for the FA cup and the community shield.
However the Scot is not the only person to be blamed in the downfall of the club this season. The players are to take up a fair amount of the crisis in the form of the Red devils. Juan mata, the spaniard who was the player of the season for the chelsea for the past two years was brought in the winter trasnfer window for 37 million euros. The Spaniard playmaker is a class addition to the manchester united squad and can make a real threat to the opposition team.
However the signing didnt make a real big impact in the form of the Red army. The club continued their bad run in the season. A new record for most number of crosses was made in the match against the 20th placed Fulham, though the game ended in a 2-2 draw. Remaining only in the champions league competition and Mata being cup-tied adds to the misery. The Reds are cornered to win all the remaining PL games to participate in the UEFA competion next summer. The 6th placed Reds are 11 points behind the 4th placed Liverpool. The trio of Mata, Rooney and Van persie should come in handy to save the Reds in this season. The trio has to shoot the cannons to secure the club for ending up in the top 4.
Rooney's new contact in the club till 2018 is the only good news for the fans to cherish with. The english striker confirmed the deal with 300k euros per week.
Supporting the club at the hard times & standing behind the Manager at this particular period of time is the only way of boosting the team morale that can be afforded by the fans around the world instead of campaigning # moyes out. Keep calm and wait for the Reds to strike back. GGMU !!
